Fatigue Management - online program
   
Fatigue may result from inadequate rest, sleep loss and or disrupted sleep, from stress, excessive physical activity or excessive mental or cognitive work.
   

The Fatigue Management program is designed to educate drivers and their families on the causes and effects of fatigue. Completing the online program will:

  • Establish awareness of the affects of fatigue on the driver's ability to safely operate a commercial vehicle
  • Establish awareness of the most important factors that contribute to fatigue
  • Establish awareness of the most common myths about fatigue effects
  • Apply knowledge of fatigue prevention and how to manage it
The Michigan Center for Truck Safety's Fatigue Management program is available online in an interactive format. You may be required to download and install the latest Macromedia flash plug-in to view the program. Michigan residents who go through the entire program will receive a certificate of completion.
